Brett Sander / Principal

Brett specializes in internal investigations, bid protests, and criminal litigation. Brett helped establish Task Force 2010, a special Department of Defense unit responsible for vetting contractors in Afghanistan. Previously, Brett served as a U.S. Army Judge Advocate for over five years where his practice areas include litigation and government ethics. In private practice, Brett has successfully defended bid protests on behalf of large and small government contractors. Brett is a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Law and of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service.

KHALID framarz HAMIDI / PRINCIPAL attorney

Khalid Framarz Hamidi is a Certified Foreign Legal Consultant by Virginia State Bar and an active member of the Afghanistan Independent Bar Association with License No. 549 (one of the first licenses issued by the AIBA) to practice law and appear before all courts in Afghanistan. He is a nationally recognized, accomplished, and highly respected member of the Afghanistan legal community. Mr. Framarz Hamidi possesses over 12 years of counseling and litigation experience in private practice and with the United States Department of State, Bureau of International and Law Enforcement Affairs Rule of Law projects,

Previously, Mr. Framarz Hamidi served as a legal advisor with the U.S. military’s Combined Joint Inter-Agency Task Force-435(CJIATF-435) where he trained, advised and mentored Afghan judicial officials on national security cases at the Justice Center in Parwan (JCIP), the national court which has been responsible for adjudication of terrorism and national security cases. Mr. Hamidi obtained his bachelor degree in law from Kabul University Faculty of Law and Political Science in 2007.
